Event Highlights: Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition’s Odyssey 2014 event was held in conjunction with the 1st Annual North American Green Fleet Forum at the California Automobile Museum and featured National Alternative Fuel Training Consortium (NAFTC) Petroleum Reduction Training, tours of an anaerobic digester and fueling facility that produces renewable natural gas for Sacramento truck fleets and a recently opened public access hydrogen fueling station. Tom Johnson presented case studies and best practices from his nationally acclaimed “100 Best Fleets – Top Green Fleet’s Best Practices and Case Studies.” Attendees could also visit a zero-emission vehicle ride-and-drive. Keynote speakers were Mark Smith, Vehicle Technologies Deployment Manager for the Department of Energy’s National Clean Cities Program, and Bill Van Amburg, Senior Vice President of CALSTART.

Event Highlights: Sacramento Clean Cities held its 3rd Annual Clean Technologies Forum & Odyssey event at the California Automobile Museum in Sacramento, CA. This event included speaker panels, display vehicles, exhibitors, a Ride-n-Drive, a Clean World Partners/Renewable Gas Facility tour, a continental breakfast, a mid-morning snack, lunch, and prizes. Materials used in the food break sessions were biodegradable and picked up by sponsor Atlas Disposal to turn into renewable natural gas, making this a zero-waste event. Speakers included Congresswoman Doris Matsui and fleet professionals with years of experience operating alternative fuel fleets. This event was made possible by numerous sponsors, partners and the Greater Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition.
