2006

Host Site Coordinator: Fanshawe College, London, Ontario, Canada

Event Type: Information Fair

Attendees: 500 Students, Parents, Educators

Participating Sponsors / Partners: City of London

Event Highlights: To maximize potential, Odyssey Day events were combined with Fanshawe College’s college information program. The program draws hundreds of area students and families interested in the alternative fuel and advanced technology field. A thirty-foot display including Crossfire and scan tools, scopes, and a big screen with a computer feed provided a technological aspect to the program. A minimum of two faculty were present at the booth all day to answer any questions that attendees may have. Fanshawe College’s alternate fuel glass engine and a five gas analyzer working with a MODIS scope, the innovative diagnostic platform that lets individuals pinpoint and diagnose today’s sophisticated vehicles faster, was also on hand to provide attendees with an up close and personal look at the technology students are currently working with today.
